The results of the most extensive assessment of ATP hygiene monitoring systems speak volumes. Conducted by a leading food and beverage reference laboratory, the evaluation covered four critical performance areas.

Linearity

The linearity graph illustrates a clear and proportional correlation between Relative Light Units (RLU) and ATP levels for the Hygiena™ system. A linear relationship indicates precision and reliability in results. In contrast, systems deviating from linearity may yield less dependable outcomes and reduced sensitivity. The data depicted in the graph underscores that the Hygiena™ system stands out as one of the most linear options available in the market.

Less is More

Repeatability, as measured by the Coefficient of Variation (CV), reflects the variability between results obtained from the same sample. A higher CV indicates greater inconsistency and unreliability in results. The graph demonstrates that Hygiena™ systems consistently produce reliable results with the lowest CV, ensuring dependable and consistent performance.

100% Recyclable

Sensitivity, characterized by the Limit of Detection (LoD), represents the smallest ATP concentration detectable above the background noise of the system. Background noise, consisting of RLU detected in the absence of ATP, may arise from both instrument (electrical interference) and reagent swab device (chemical interference). Hygiena™ systems excel in detecting the lowest ATP levels, underscoring their superior sensitivity.

Accuracy Assessment

To assess accuracy, 100 fmoles of ATP were added to each test device, and measurements were taken (using 10 replicates) to ascertain the amount of the available sample detected. Results below 100% indicate that only a portion of the sample was detected, likely due to system interference. Conversely, results over 100% suggest additional signal emanating from the test device. Hygiena's system exhibits results closest to 100%, indicating minimal variability and optimal accuracy.

Battery Power for Months

EnSURE® operates on two AA batteries, ensuring prolonged battery life and eliminating the need for daily charging. Users can enjoy uninterrupted usage for 8-12 months before replacing the batteries. Additionally, replacement batteries are cost-effective. In contrast, alternative systems utilize expensive batteries that require replacement every 6-8 hours, with a minimum charge time of 2 hours.
